Balcastle  Balcastle motte is situated to the west of Kilsyth in Central Scotland. One of series of 12th century strongholds of the Earls of Lennox. It's original name was Kelvesith, later Kilsyth, a name later transferred to their 15th century at Allanfauld Farm. This photo has been seen 13050 times
