Castle Roche, Co Louth This castle (H991119) was built in the 13th century by Rohesia de Verdun or her son. It is perched on a rocky outcrop. Two semicircular bastions flank the entrance which is also protected by a rock-cut ditch. This photo has been seen 10380 times
