Malpas Malpas is a cross between the first two, a good ditch (dry), and an excellent flat topped motte 4mts high x 31mts across. The bailey also contains a church (SJ 4847). Being in Cheshire it no doubt belonged to the Lords of Chester. This photo has been seen 6254 times
