Framlingham Perhaps the best know enlcosure castle is Framlingham in Suffolk (Tm 2863). The walls are 40' high & 8' thick, and have 12 towers. 10 of which are open backed. The whole structure stands on a raised platform. This photo has been seen 11403 times
