Did I miss something, or is there currently no discussion board specifically for heraldry?

I'm trying to figure out a thing or two about "reading" heraldry. I know they used funky names for colors and shapes, and a lot of the designs mean something, or pertain to a specific person. I wish I knew how I could figure out these things... because I see heraldry all the time in movies, and I'd like to be able to tell whether it meant anything at all, or was just some fake design.

Very interesting indeed.

Not exactly what I was looking for, but maybe I don't know what I'm really looking for anyway.

I suppose some of these designs came in, and out of favor with the times.
