He used the following locations, and yes, Lindisfarne is there,
Filming Locations for
Macbeth (1971)
Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland, England, UK
Ffestiniog, Wales, UK
Lindisfarne Castle, Northumberland, England, UK
St. Aidan's Church, Northumberland, England, UK
But according to IMDb, Macbeth was the only film which used the castle at Lindisfarne as a location. Cul de Sac lists Holy Island, Northumberland as the location, so that probably did include the castle.
