Phew! this forum has been quiet for a few months. As mentioned elsewhere, we have been stripping my study out and redecorating. It occured to me whilst filling bin-bags of 'Junk'. When does something we perhaps collected in the past, pass that sell by date ? For myself I was an avid S.f/Fantasy fhan. Attending many conventions, producing magazines etc. But over the last few years I have sold books for a mere pitance. Just to clear my shelves. I do retain a few old favourites. In the latest clear-out hoards of castle cuttings went. Because they were never filed in order. What do I do with 'doubles' ? How cold hearted are YOU ????

'PETER' i understand your problem-but im afraid that us texans from america some-times dont get words like whilst. what is the worth of a pitance? must not be worth much. anyway, texans frequently throw their stuff away!if you might do that to your 'doubles'. just as an idea.

Recent family events forced me to 'rationalise' my library....I couldn't bring myself to throw it out, it's all in the attic for future use...when maybe we've got a bit more space again.....boxes and boxes and more boxes of it, including 50 odd Tranter novels.
