Greetings all, despite my seemingly none presence I do drop into the site on a regular basis. But it seems to have slid into state of slothfulness. I even drop this general message here as I still can't get into "The Keep". I do have pile of pic's here from various holidays etc. That I may get around to posting when time allows. And fancy choosing a French chateau for the new BBC series of a young Merlin! All a bit naff really, but I keep on watching. Bestist .... Edward (peter) |

I love Merlin! France, is it? I thought it was in Ireland! The site I run (dedicated to Harry Lloyd who played Will Scarlet in BBC's Robin Hood) has gone very quiet too. I drop by here once a week, rain or shine.------------------ "She was full more blissful on to see Than is the newe perejonette tree" |

Oh yes, France it is. A bit modern for a castl in King Arthur's time too! |

http://pierrefonds.monuments-nationaux.fr/ Or so I've been told, not having seen the TV show myself I suppose it was chosen because of its "Hollywood" looks. Paul. |

I give up, my password no longer works and Ted seems too busy to reply. What the hell is going on?

I can no longer get into the keep so I have no other option than to say, I resign.[This message has been edited by Paul (edited 12-23-2009).] |

Seems I can still get in to the Keep, even though I rarely visit here now. Sorry you feel you have to resign Paul. |

I'm very sad about it all Andrew but what can I do when my access to the Keep is blocked? I've done my best to carry on the good work that you did but its impossible. Maybe Ted will have a re-think and not let COTW die. |

Hi Paul, hi Andrew. Revisting CQ after all this time shows me: Almost nothing was gojng on since I left. The site is dead, the forums mostly filled with rubbish. Time to shut down - sorry Paul. This once was a great site to discuss any castle-related topics, but those days are long gone.A good time to all of you. Merlin/Oliver |

Hiya - just dropping in as I do once every couple of months. I get the feeling it's not just CQ, but discussion forums in general that are "out-dated", given the advent of Twitter, Facebook and the like. History, and in particular castles, are no longer "cool". CQ has seen better days. No disrespect to The Scribe, but he might consider re-inventing the site - or at least, CQ. Peter - I got skype now!!! |

It's good to know castles are still enjoyed by some out there. |
