There was a really famous battle in Poiters around 1356, when the English longbowmen defeated a huge number of french knights...Then around 1372, the French managed to regain control of Poiters. How? |

The Hundred Years War resumed when the French, with the help of a fleet from Castile, defeated the British off La Rochelle. In 1375 the English and French signed the Truce of Bruges.
