Topic: Any advice for a castle vacation for my family??

To everyone
I have always dreamed of staying in a medival castle, and would love to take my family there next year for a real vacation.
I'm having some trouble, though, finding information online!
There would be 6 of us going-and I would like to stay a week.
My sons are ages 17,15,14,and 10.
Although they'd probably rather go to Disney World, mom would love to be able to have this one dream come true! Could anyone help me?
It would be great to find a website that had available--prices also--for lodging at the castle, a tour, air fare, car-etc.
I wouldn't mind staying in a haunted one either 
Please help soon--I'm already saving up!

A huge listing on this site: http://www.castles.org/Chatelaine/accomm.htm There are hundreds of castles in Scotland, many of which you can stay in. My own former home (Castle Levan) is open for folks to stay in and was reputed to be haunted - as are many others. When I have time, I'll list some of my favourites. | |
