Is there a proper technical term for the wooden bar that holds the front door of the castle shut and locked?

We just got the Castle expansion for the Heroscape board game and the rules there call it "Sliding Bar for Door", that while descriptive, doesn't sound historically accurate.

Door-bolt I think is the word you're looking for.

'Draw Bar' is another in use in some places.

I believe that "Draw bar" is the most used description as it is a bar that is drawn and not a bolt.
