This is a well know castle and much exists on the web (but floorplans always seem to be in short supply) The common spelling is Krak des Chevaliers. Try searching with this spelling.------------------ Neurotics build castles in the air, psychotics live in them, Psychiatrists charge the rent, art therapists do the interior design and nurses clean out the garderobes! http://www.castlesontheweb.com/members/philipdavis/index.html

http://www.mysite.com/syria/gald772.htm has many fine pictures. http://www.bow.k12.nh.us/CyberBUS/Crusades/crusades.htm has a history of the crusades and a plan of Krak des Chevaliers. http://www.homeusers.prestel.co.uk/church/oosj/history.htm has a history of the order of St John, famous occupants of the castle.------------------ Neurotics build castles in the air, psychotics live in them, Psychiatrists charge the rent, art therapists do the interior design and nurses clean out the garderobes! http://www.castlesontheweb.com/members/philipdavis/index.html | |
