I couldn't find any mention anywhere in the catalog this picture was on the cover of about where the place is or what it's name might be. I'd love to include it in my collection of castle pictures, but would really like to know something about it before I do! The picture is at http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/7231/tower.html (Those of you who have been to my site before, please note that http://castlethornwood.com works to get you there now. (Hello Duncan and Philip Davis!)) |

For more info on Irish castles, towers etc, contact "Savoy" on here. He knows his Irish towers. Regards, Bluewater |

Yes, he does know castles very well, and sence I didn't have the time to stop and get close to the one I saw, there is a good chance I'm wrong bout this one, hence the words looks like. |

Hey there Duncan. I'm not sure if you mis-interperated my post...or if I am mis-interperating something lol. I did not mean to suggest you were wrong, I just meant if Helen had specific questions, I know Savoy has been great on answering mine. I just wanted to make sure, as no negativity or "lack in faith of knowledge" were intended (if that is how it came across my apologies).Regards, Bluewater |

None taken, my first post should have been a bit more indepth, I often get in a hurry and crop my messages to fit in while running this buisness. My posts sometimes sound alittle harsh when that happens which is not the way their intended. |

OK, I see what happened now. I was not aware how many people knew Savoy or bout his knowledge so I tossed it in (he's helping me with potential tower houses for sale in Ireland...what a guy...).Regards, Bluewater |

Thank you, Duncan, and Bluewater, too. The picture does look sort of Irish. Thanks again, Helen |
