I couldn't find any websites giving out this particular info so I'll ask here. How thick are the walls of the keep? |

Dover castle keep is a complex building, with many intramural rooms, a integral forebuilding housing a grand stair and walls of varying thickness. Where there are windows the walls have no thickness, under the grand stair the wall is over 10 metres thick. A more usual thickness would be about 5 metres, room for the numerous intramural chambers. The thickness of the exterior wall from within a mural chamber again varies but is usually between 1 to 2 metres.
