Many years ago, and then years before that, I visited Amboise, the beautiful chateau in the Loire Valley in France. Since then, I have been wondering why Leonardo Divinci was buried there. I have long forgotten the significance of this. Anyone who knows, please remind me.Pete |

This is the nearest thing I could find to an explanation, on http://www.lvo.com Reagrding Amboise, and it's chapel.... 'This chapel was built between 1491 and 1496. It is a beautiful example of architecture, and its outside decorations, made of stone, are sumptuous. The interior friezes and stained glass windows are also remarkable. It now holds the remains of Leonardo da Vinci, who spent the last years of his life in the neighboring Clos-luce.'
