I'm interested mainly in life in that towns, little stories that were recoreded additionaly to the main history. It is said that if two people wanted to get a divorce, they were locked in that chamber for two weeks, in an attempt to get them back together. The chamber only had one bed, one table, one plate and one mug. Do you know of similar places in European towns? Do you think they were ever really used? I really don't find the idea to practical...
