reggae Member	posted 10-07-2009 11:57 AM what are the top 10 largest castle in the uk by size largest to smallest ive looked everywhere for this information and i can only find out the largest which is windsor castle. any help would be appriciated. I need this information for my 11 year olds history homework, sounds harder than u think.

Queuxgropius Senior Member	posted 10-12-2009 11:21 AM Hi Reggae I'm not sure about this since "biggest" can be an ambiguous term (the largest castle grounds, largest or tallest buildings..) but I'll make a stab at it off the top of my head. Apart from Windsor and Dunstanburgh I'd pick-in no particular order-Edinburgh Castle in Scotland, Caernarfon, Conway and Caerphilly in Wales and Warwick, Thornbury,Dover and The tower of London in England.
